Leather on the bench. Wood on the laser.
Marywood Studio is a two-material craft practice: full-grain leather goods finished by hand, and birch or walnut ornaments cut and stacked on a desktop laser.
Every wallet, belt, and journal cover starts as a hide on the cutting table — edged, dyed, and burnished in small batches. Nothing is mass-produced; sizes and stamps are cut to the order.
On the wood side, Christmas ornaments and keepsakes are designed as flat 2D silhouettes or layered 3D forms. Names, years, and short phrases can be engraved into most pieces.
